This is my review and how I see it.
This story is a fast pace heart wrenching. It is obvious that Kiel and Melody love each other. Melody needs help things stemming from her past are bleeding into her present and future with Kiel. The secret she is holding from her husband is eating her up inside. The book starts with Kiel asking Melody what the divorce papers were about and he told her in no uncertain terms that she was not leaving him. Melody felt she was doing what was best for Kiel. This story does have an HEA.
We see more of the dynamics of Angelique and Franco’s in this story as well. Melody’s mother is a hot mess. What kind of woman, a mother, does that? Instead of getting her daughter the help that she needed, she excuses her of lying. Kiel’s cousin Dwight is a real piss of work, he is or is trying to play Kiel and Mel against each other.
