33628646This is my review and how I see it. This was a good read, hot scenes, and an unbelievable alpha male. In Unbroken, author Emerson Rose gives us a love story of two broken people, Imani Jefferson and Marcus Castillo. The tagline “If you go, I go.” Imani Jefferson works as a nurse at Seattle Trinity hospital, this is where she meet Marcus Castillo. Imani’s story is one of overcoming a horrific kidnapping during her youth. Her co-worker Courtney is always trying to set her up, however, this last one just might stick. Imani is drawn to Marcus as he lies in a coma.

On her day off Marcus wakes up screaming for Imani. Her co-worker has to call her to come to work has they cannot get him under control. Once Imani gets to the hospital, Marcus will not let her out of his sight. He goes has far as hiring her to be his nurse. Things go from professional to personal in a hot second as they quickly turn into lovers. Then things turn scary for Imani, as they view the video footage of a woman standing over her with a hunting knife and she leaves Marcus.

Steamy scenes, drama, suspense who is the smoke women and why does she believe that Marcus and Elena are evil…who is helping her. In this 107 chapter book shows use that love does conquer all and miracles do happen.

This story is for anyone who loves an alpha male who will fight to keep his woman and the woman who will fight against the odds for her man.

The author has provided a free copy of her work in exchange for an honest review.
