This is my review and how I see it. In A Reservation for One, author LaShawn Vasser is the story of one relationship that should have been over at first cheat, a friendship that was born out of need, and an attraction that cannot be denied. Haven Shaw is in a toxic relationship with a cheating boyfriend when she develops a friendship with Ms. McKenna at a low point in her life. In walks, Ellis McKenna, Ms. McKenna’s handsome grandson, who instantly puts Haven on notice that if she is trying to take advantage of his grandmother she will regret it.
Ms. McKenna is doing her best to play matchmaker between her grandson and Haven and she knows and sees that they are attracted to each other and fighting that attraction for their own reasons. One day as Ellis and Haven are about to give in to their desire for each other tragedy strikes. Each is suffering the loss and in their grief, they both give in to their desire for one another. As one whispers their love for the other the other pulls away even though they feel the same.
Is it really over for this two and will those that are plotting to keep them apart for the sake of money keep them apart.
This book ends with a cliffhanger.
