This is my review and how I see it. In The Wedding, Coco and Brick have a one-night stand that turns into more. Although that do not know it their lives are connected in more ways than one. Coco meets Brick in his club called the Bone Room when she and her BFF Georgie decide to visits Georgie’s boyfriend Marcel. In the moment that Coco steps into the Bone Room, she catches the eye of Brick.
Coco decides that she is going to have a little fun and forget about the fiancee that she does not want. As the week goes by Coco and Brick began to develop more than lust for each other, but things happen to keep these two apart and Coco sacrifices herself to save her mom and Brick.
This story takes you on a wild ride of unbelievable plots of family and the secrets they hold. It does have a happy ending for Coco and Brick. That grand~mere, Coco’s daddy, and Brick’s Pops are something else. Grand~mere and Coco’s father were just plain evil (my opinion of course). I just wish Coco could have seen most of what was going to happen so she and Brick could have avoided the heartache.
This book is for anyone who likes books where it looks like the evil will overcome good and it doesn’t.
