Book Review: How I See It ~ The Prodigy Slave, Book One: Journey to Winter Garden ~ Londyn Skye

In Londyn Skye’s book The Prodigy Slave Book One Journey to Winter Garden (Book 1), is51pdtyiusNL the story of a young slave girl named Lily. Ms. Skye spins the tale even to define at the beginning of every chapter of parts of the ‘Slave Code’ which gives the reader an explanation of how things were back then. She developed her story in such a way that I could not put this book down until I completed it from cover to cover. Having the ‘Slave Code’ at the beginning of the chapters help me to see certain things as this story played out.

This type of story is usually not my cup of tea; however, I found myself spellbound and on the edge of my seat to see how it would play out and the cliffhanger is a doozy. I was like ‘Wait What Just Happen?!!! I Was Not Ready for that at All!!!

By the end of this story, I was ready to strangle the two of the male characters.

I look forward to reading the rest of this story, as I wait to read the fate of Lily, the prodigy slave.

If you don’t like stories that deal with slavery, this book is not for you.

The author has provided a free copy of her work in exchange for an honest review.

This is my review and how I see it.
