This is my first book by this author, and I have to said it was a good and well-developed piece of art. Both Seanna (Sean) and Holden are two broken souls by life and people who did not know that circumstances beyond their control connected their lives. How the author brings about letting us the readers know how this story unravels is a work of pure genius. There were moments where I thought I had everything figured out and then the author threw a wrench in my theory and yet when it was all said and done…
I loved Sean and Holden together and how they each fought for each other. I only wish I could know the rest of their story as well as what was behind Ryan’s change of heart.
Some parts were heart-wrenching has no one should ever have had to go through what Sean went through. There were some real life situations in this book.
If you cannot deal with the following subject matter this book is not for you: domestic violence, sexual abuse, rape, suppressed memories, racism and violence, mental as well as emotional cruelty, and PTSD.
This is my review and how I see it.
