Book review | My thoughts ~ Emanuel’s Heat by Tiffany Patterson

Tiffany Patterson’s multicultural/interracial novel Emanuel’s Heat (2019) is just that, this book was hot from Chapter one until the end of the book. The author takes you from the characters present past up to their second meeting. During their first meeting, they are in Cabo for different reasons: Janine taking a much-needed vacation after breaking up with her long-term boyfriend Matthew and Emanuel visiting family. After three-days and one night of passion neither expected to see the other again.

Six months later fate has other plans in store for these two. After the shenanigans of Janine’s mother (the nasty, trifling, low-down dirty, she needs her assets whooped), Matthew the ex-boyfriend showing up courtesy of Janine’s mother (the got some of what he deserved; however, I would have wanted something more Townsend style); and the every present Williamsport arsonist (I really hope they catch this guy).

Emanuel’s Heat is just that hot Hot HOT (in my Chris Tucker voice from the Fifth Element). You can never go wrong with a Tiffany Patterson book.
