Book review | My thoughts—Redemption

In Kenya Wright story Redemption, Ebony Day and her three children are on the run from the one person that is supposed to love and protect them, yet he has become an abusive monster. One night after fleeing yet another location they have an accident on Yoshiro’s property.

At Yoshiro’s they find a safe place, but the danger is not over yet. Yoshiro has his own demons to battle, yet he has found a family with Ebony and her children. He wants more with Ebony and knows that she is not ready for a relationship, let alone sex.

Will Yoshiro succeed in saving Ebony and her children from their nightmare and will he find redemption from his own? This book gave me some real-life flashback moments.

Recommend: Yes, it is a great read; however, it might trigger if you have ever been a victim of domestic violence.
