Book review | My thoughts—Her Russian Defender

The fifth book in Camilla Stevens’ An International Legacies Romance series, this is Zia Franklin (Maya Jackson’s friend from The Nordic Lightening) and Grigory Mikhailov (Erik Sørenson’s teammate from The Nordic Lightening) story. Grigory has had a thing for Zia since when he first saw her and she was totally clueless to his interest. Until one day her world exploded and she not only was out of a job, but a boyfriend as well. As she lamantes her woes to her friend Maya and attempting to find a place to stay, Erik tells her she can stay with Grigory.

Things take an interesting turn for Zia especially after seeing Grigory in his gray sweatpants and pajama bottoms. Both fighting against the mutual attraction for different reasons. There is drama in short order of a pregnant blond. I don’t see this ending good for her folks, blonde I mean.

All in all is was a very good story of a silent hockey player and the talkative woman he wants to build a life.
