Book review | My thoughts—Drunch

Lunchtime Chronicles Issue 11: Drunch by author Xyla Turner. Ivory Nash takes herself to an after hours urgent care and meets a the most disagreeable Dr. Ian Crain. Dr. Ian has a pet peeve about people not taking a flu shot. During there heated discussion Ivory passes out and Dr. Ian to the above and beyond call of duty when it comes to caring for her. He takes her home and shows up the next day with drunch (soup, ginger ale, crackers, and bread).

For the next week like clockwork the good doctor show up everyday until one day until he asks what going to happen next week? Well things were going good up to this point. Turn about is fair play when Ivory goes to confront the doctor and finds out that he’s at home sick. Things are going great and Ian and Ivory are in an established relationship that is until he finds out what she has been hiding.

This was a pretty good read. Still some small editing and wording issues.
