Book review | My thoughts—Beck

Book one of the Gods of the Fifth Floor series Tyler ‘Beck’ Beckett lost the love of his life, she and her family disappeared without a trace. After years of therapy he continues to have The Dream of the day his world crashed. It’s been twelve years, since Beck has seen Mel, and when he sees her again he is taken back.

Of all the things Melissa ‘Mel’ Reid was expecting to happen the morning she received an unexpected needed to attend a pitch meeting was to see Ty/Beck again. Beck wants the truth; however, Mel gives him half truths and omits some very important information. Will their love survive the second time around?

Book one of The Gods of the Fifth Floor is a multicultural second chance at love story. A good read, although I dislike the premise of why she did what she did, but she hurt the man that she loved as well as herself.
