Book review | My thoughts—Explicit: The Sons of Victor Black

In book one of The Sons of Victor Black by author Cassie Verano, we meet Mitch Black, Greyson’s younger brother and the black sheep of the family. Mitch has always been a pain in his father’s side through the years and his father is tired of bailing him out. Mitch is having to work for his living and his initial clash is with the CHRO Blake Phoenix.

Blake Phoenix did not have an easy childhood and faced rejection at every turn. The last thing the she needs is to babysit the boss’s son. Mitch and Blake are oil and water at first sight. Things come to a head when they are in Bora Bora and passion isn’t the only thing that is burning hot between these two. A decision Mitch made in his past comes back to bite him hard and puts a screeching halt to he and Blake. When Mitch is hurt Blake runs to his side and he shuts her out, once she says her piece and walks away. Is this the end for Mitch and Blake? I explicitly hope not.
