Book review | My thoughts—Beck

Book three of the GDB Security series by author Toye Lawson Brown. I thought I had read this one, guess I didn’t. Beck Pavlov left is family and life behind in Chicago after a tragedy that made the headlines. He now works as a security guard for GDB security when he stumbles across someone attempting to break into the Parkers home. Abbie Parker, a reporter for the local news is temporarily staying at her father’s house when there’s an attempted break-in. Is the break-in at her father’s house a fluke? It doesn’t appear to be when the same person attempts it twice. Things keep going downhill for Abbie, especially upon finding her “boyfriend” Eddie in his bed with another woman. It seems both Beck and Abbie take a visit to heartbreak upon finding out that the people they taught they were in a relationship with weren’t in a relationship with them. Two broken people finding out they were on a journey with the wrong people until they found love within each other. Will this story end in happy ever after or will there be a shocker no one saw coming? I don’t think those break-ins were a cowinkydink. I recommend this book it is was a good read.
