Book review | My thoughts—Primal Obsession

Author D.M. Mortier’s continues her black girl magic in this story. Justin Ragnarson a seemingly happily married man until his world is rocked by the lies and betrayal of his wife. Nakia McKenzie has a secret crush on Justin; however, nothing can come of it because she is also married and would never betray her vows. A chance meeting an airport and Justin feeling that he should protect Nakia at all cost will began to unearth his marriage, the level his wife is willing to go to hurt him and the worst betrayal of all he nor his brother Colt saw coming. This action packed full of bada$$ chicks (Imani and Nakia) in this story. If you haven’t checked out Secret Obsession (Colt and Imani’s story) go check it out today. The puppet master behind the scenes is one they never saw coming. Decision that are made will cost Justin the woman he professed to love. It was a good story; however, the character didn’t do a very good job with changing her name.
