Book review | My thoughts—Beautiful Disaster: Adonis and Sheila’s Fight for Love

My first read by author R.K Renton. I have so many questions. Adonis and Shelia are married and have been married for four years. It looks like it’s about to crash and burn. One day Blair shows up with Adonis’s three year old daughter Emily. During their fighting Adonis takes the side of Blair and tell Sheila not to disrespect his family?! Did I miss something?! Adonis told his wife not to disrespect his baby mama and his daughter (his family). There would be no fighting for love. This would be over and there would be no comeback for this disrespect of choosing his baby mama over his wife. This is the most confusing story. He should have told her either before or after they eloped he had a child. I can’t get over the fact that Adonis keeps calling his baby mama and daughter his family. I can understand his daughter, she is his family. While I could understand Shelia’s pain, this character was very over the top. At the end of the day, Adonis and Shelia should have never gotten married. Adonis is bratty. He is like a little boy trying to play grown man. Adonis holds a secret that will shock his family. The book could have been better. The characters were a bit overwhelming and the storyline was all over the place. The flashbacks made it a little better to understand somethings. The author needs a good editor there were some missing words or words used in the wrong context. I wouldn’t recommend reading this story, I was very disappointed. The only thing I liked about this book was the cover.
