Book review | My thoughts—The Satyr

Author Tiana Laveen introduced us to Nixon Rossellini and Yasmine Price in The Cage Chronicles volume 1. Here is the rest of there story. The one thing that I can say about this author’s books is that they are gritty, not in an unpleasant way for me as a reader, maybe for some. The male lead is a raw, unapologetic male who knows what he wants in and out from the bedroom to the courtroom and every place in between. He is peeling way at Yasmine like an onion one layer at a time. Nix becomes all that Yasmine needs and more than what she thought she wanted, and Yasmine is what Nix needed even though he wasn’t looking. I enjoyed most of this story; however, there were three things I did not like.

Other than that it was a very enjoyable read and a well written story. I would recommend this to anyone who love a polished rough around the edges hero and the lady who loves him.
