Book review | My thoughts—Michael’s Faith

Book, one of C.A. Foster’s Sistas from Philly series, is a BWWM novel full of lack of communication from Krystal to Michael. You can tell straight away that Krystal has some issues and wasn’t sure what the prologue had to do with this story. When we first meet Michael, his girlfriend’s name was Chesley, and her best friend’s name was April, who Michael’s friend Tim was interested in. Later, April is the ex-high school girlfriend of Michael not Chesley. Could Krystal be the girl Michael saw all those years ago? Krystal is not mature enough to be in a relationship. I struggled reading this story as some of the sentences were awkward, lack of transition between some scenes; the author was overly descriptive in her story tell by letting us know step by step what the character was doing. The story did not flow well.
