Book review | My thoughts—Say Something

Amina Stone has had a rough past, and things are starting to get brighter for her after her daughter, Nya, is born. Never looking or thinking to find love. She is shaken when at first sight, she is attracted to the group counselor Spencer Adams. She is not alone, Spencer can’t stop seeking Amina out, but all of that must come to a stop when Amina starts to see Spenser as her therapist. Spencer, in an attempt to fight his growing attraction to Amina, begins to date Tiffany. Things do not go well in that relationship, and Spencer can’t stay away from Amina and Nya any longer. Just when Amina believes that she has it all, things go left quickly. Blackmail, kidnapping, and death are on the horizon. I enjoyed reading this book; it had pain, overcoming; redemption, finding love, and friendship when and where you would least expected. I would recommend this story; however, I recommend it with trigger warnings.
